Eichardt's Private Hotel

Since the 1860s, Eichardt's has occupied one of Queenstown’s most recognisable positions, overlooking Lake Wakatipu from the centre of town.

What began as a gold rush-era store and hotel has evolved into a collection of suites, apartments and residences that retain a connection to the building’s history while providing contemporary accommodation. Guests are steps from the waterfront, restaurants and galleries, with lake and mountain views a constant presence.

Eichardt's Bar is a longstanding Queenstown institution, while The Grille looks across the lake toward the surrounding mountains.
